Shaving causes thick and dense hair growth.
- FACT
Normally hair appears to be thin with a tapered end. When you the cut the hair it’s cut through the shaft of the hair which is thick, this leaves the hair with blunt end and that is why it appears to be thick. Shaving is not involved with the pigment of the hair or its roots.

Laser is painful.
- FACT
Laser hair reduction should not hurt during the treatment. It is common for some areas to be a little uncomfortable at the start of the course but then once you get used to the procedure it shouldn’t be of any problem. Moreover, nowadays laser technology is advanced evidently and the cooling technique in the lasers gives you a soothing effect with minimal or no pain.

Laser hair reduction gets rid of 100% of all your hair.

It’s a general misconception that after LHR no hair will grow back. Generally 80-90% of the hair can be removed by taking regular sessions of laser but remaining 20% would become finer and lighter. The latter may require maintenance sessions for more assuring results.

Laser hair reduction is one of the most safe and efficacious procedure if performed by a skilled health care provider who has a depth of knowledge about the lasers.

Hair growth decreases completely only in one long session.

You can definitely see some results after 1st session of LHR. But complete reduction cannot be attained in one session as hair are in different phases of its life cycle and multiple sessions are required for maximum reduction.

Laser rays can cause internal damage.
- FACT
It’s definitely a myth because the laser rays only penetrates upto 1-4 mm of the skin and there is no chance for it to reach and damage any organs internally.
