- Take a bath immediately once you finish off with the Holi function. Use a gentle cleanser and cold water to remove the colours from your body and face.
- After taking bath, use a good moisturiser and sunscreen to repair the damage.
- Do not scrub or exfoliate your skin as this may injure or irritate your skin.
- Apply coconut oil to the body prior to your bath so that its easier to remove the colours.
- Extra precautions are required for people suffering from skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, acne, dandruff, etc. they should consider dry Holi with least use of colours and gulaal.
- See a dermatologist if one suffers from excessive irritation, burning or worsening of existing skin disease.
